SHIPPING & DELIVERY
We are aiming to have your order dispatched from our facility within 24 hours. However, please bear with us in case we are spending extra time in checking / perfecting your items, particularly during the peak season around end of the year. This does not include weekends or holidays.
Purchases made after 9 pm EST will not be shipped out until the next business day. If you order after 9 pm EST on a Friday, your order will likely be shipped out on the following Monday. Please refer to the chart below for rates/times.
For Express Shipping, orders will be delivered by DHL Express with 1-3 working days delivery. You will be notified by email and SMS about your shipment’s progress and estimated delivery date/time. When this doesn’t fit your schedule, you can customize your delivery and decide how, where and when the delivery takes place at the time and location that suits you best.
For standard shipping (EU only), orders will be delivered by the national postal service of the destination country, you might be required to sign on the package to receive the item and thus please choose an address that someone is available to receive the package during business hour.
We reserve the right to cancel an order at anytime. Similarly, we reserve the right to request additional information from our customers for verification purposes.
We are not responsible for any lost, stolen, damaged merchandise or delayed delivery once we have shipped your order. Once you have received a delivery confirmation number, any claims should be made with DHL or national post. We are not responsible for customs, duties, taxes or miscellaneous fees incurred from importing our products.
A delivery confirmation number is provided once an order is verified, processed and submitted to DHL.
Please make sure that the shipping & billing addresses match as it is crucial for your order to be processed and shipped in a timely manner. We are not responsible for fail delivery due to incorrect shipping address or incorrect billing address.
We reserve the right to change or update our shipping policies and procedures at any time without notification.
CUSTOMS, DUTIES & TAXES
All applicable customs and import duties, fees, taxes are the responsibility of the customer. We ship your package DDU (duties and taxes unpaid), and we do not collect the VAT, duties and/or taxes and cannot predict what your particular charges may be. If your order does require these additional charges, they must be paid by you in order for your package to clear customs. Some countries may require additional fees paid Collect on Delivery (COD). These fees are paid to the local carrier and are not collected by BLACKTAILOR.
Customs authorities require that we state the value of your order directly on your package. Customs agents have the right to release or deny release of your package, and in rare cases, they may also delay delivery.
International returns initiated due to invalid shipping address or delivery failure will be subject to a $25 restocking fee which will be deducted from the refund amount.
International returns initiated due to refusal to pay duties and taxes will be subject to a $25 restocking fee AND any taxes, customs and duties charged which will be deducted from the refund amount.
International returns initiated due to refusing to receive your order will be subject to a $25 restocking fee AND shipping cost which will be deducted from the refund amount.
RETURNS / REFUNDS / EXCHANGES
Any brand new product can be returned for an exchange or store credit within 90 days of delivery, but we need to make sure that the product is in original condition with the product tag and original packaging. Returns/Exchanges are NOT accepted for sales items.
Merchandise must be unworn with the original tags attached and in original packaging (where applicable).
Please include the original packing list with your return to avoid any delays in processing. Once the package is received, our warehouse will process the return, and you will be notified via email.
All returns and exchanges should be shipped via insured traceable mail in a secure package. Please send your items back to us by any shipping company with the address form included in the package.
All returned items must be unworn, unwashed, complete with original tags and/or packaging if applicable. We are not responsible for the return shipping costs of the items. Please make sure all returned items are well packaged, so as not to be damaged in the post. Please make sure all return packages are sent with a traceable, insured service.
The return process is simple and we offer full store credit to the value of the item(s). We are sorry that we do not offer cash refunds. ONLY store credit which never expires & can be used for anything.
We cannot take responsibility for items damaged or lost in the return transit. We reserve the right to refuse any returns at any time if product is not in original condition/used/washed/product tag are removed/damaged.
We reserve the right to correct, update or change our returns/refund/exchange policy at any time without notification.
You acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for the accuracy and content of information, including but not limited to name, email, shipping address and billing address provided to us via our website or at our retail locations.
LIMITS ON PURCHASING
We do not authorize the purchase of our merchandise for resale purposes. We may, at our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. We also reserve the right to limit or cancel orders which we deem, at our sole discretion, to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. We also reserve the right to cease doing business with those customers violating this policy. We may modify this policy at any time without prior notice. This policy applies to all purchases made at our retail stores and on our online store. We reserve the right to correct, update or change information regarding this policy at any time without notification.
